Drought Restrictions Downgraded Stage 2 – Mandatory Water Use Restrictions

Drought restrictions have been downgraded to Stage 2 as of September 22, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.

Jordan Ranch is experiencing severe water shortage conditions leading Fulshear MUD 3A to institute Stage 2 of its Drought Contingency Plan. Your cooperation is imperative to provide adequate water and water pressure to the community.

The following steps are MANDATORY at this time:

Use of automatic sprinkler systems or hose end sprinklers is limited to the following days only:

  • Addresses ending in even numbers (0, 2, 4, 6 or 8) – Sundays and Thursdays
  • Addresses ending in odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9) – Saturdays and Wednesdays

The use of permanently installed sprinkler systems is limited to between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. and only allowed on watering days as designated above.

Landscaped areas can be watered anytime using a handheld hose, a faucet filled bucket or a watering can of 5 gallons or less.

THESE ARE MANDATORY STEPS!  RESIDENTS NOT FOLLOWING THE WATERING SCHEDULE MAY BE SUBJECT TO FINES OR WATER SERVICE TERMINATION.

Notice of Public Hearing on Tax Rate

The Fulshear Municipal Utility District No. 3A will hold a public hearing on a proposed tax rate for the tax year 2023 on September 26, 2023 at 12:00 (Noon) at 30757 Jordan Crossing Blvd., Fulshear, Texas 77423. Your individual taxes may increase at a greater or lesser rate, or even decrease, depending on the tax rate that is adopted and on the change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in taxable value of all other property. The change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in the taxable value of all other property determines the distribution of the tax burden among all property owners.

Visit Texas.gov/PropertyTaxes to find a link to your local property tax database on which you can easily access information regarding your property taxes, including information about proposed tax rates and scheduled public hearings of each entity that taxes your property.
